Mag. Bettina Dokter-Pucher is a flutist, teacher, and versatile musician from Styria. Her studies took her to the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she studied with Univ.-Prof. Barbara Gisler-Haase and graduated with distinction in both concert performance and instrumental/vocal pedagogy (IGP). Numerous successful participations in national and international competitions — including the Prof. Dichler Competition, Prima la musica, and the Osaka Music Competition in Japan — shaped her musical career and enriched her artistic development.
As an orchestral musician, she has performed with the Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra, the Austrian-Korean Philharmonic, the Kapfenberg Symphony Orchestra, and the CrossOverOrchestra Vienna (COOV), among others. She has also appeared as a soloist with the Kapfenberg Symphony Orchestra, performing flute concertos by Anton Stamitz and Bernhard Romberg. She is a member of several chamber music ensembles and has contributed to CD productions.
Alongside her artistic work, she is deeply committed to music education. After many years of teaching experience at various music schools, she will take over her own flute class at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory in Graz starting in autumn 2025. Supporting young talent is especially close to her heart — many of her students have already received multiple awards at the Prima la musica competition. She is also a lecturer and juror for the Styrian Wind Music Association, a trained mental coach, and is currently completing her certification as a KinderFlute teacher with Kathy Blocki (USA).
